CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Drama Camp is run and instructed by Amy Kimball, who has worked in the summer camp setting for 32 summers. She directed Summer Camp for 20 summers. Amy is an experienced Clown, Mime, Performer, Director, Certified Teacher and has had every role at camp from counselor to unit head to specialist to Director. Amy has her BA in Education and has directed over 15 theatrical productions over the years. She will be working with help from a talented staff of performers who have expertise in singing and acting. Amy's staff will go through a camp staff orientation to understand their roles and responsibilities as counselors.

Our philosophy is for campers to create, learn, enjoy and work together all in a positive setting. Drama camp is about process but at the end of the week, the campers will perform for their friends and families.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: CITs who have experience in drama and/or other training programs may contact Amy to see if there is room to be a Counselor in Training. CITs must be entering 9th or 10th grade in the fall.

The management of iSG Camps has been operating youth sports camps for over 19 years with a high rate of customer satisfaction. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Manice Education Center is an opportunity for campers to explore the environment while growing as leaders. During their 1-3 week experience, students will go on a backpacking and/or canoeing trip focused on learning about ecosystems and themselves. By taking risks and challenging themselves physically and mentally, students leave feeling confident and more connected to their natural surroundings. They will have the chance to swim daily and participate in low ropes course challenges and team building activities.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Exploratory Course (6th and 7th Grade)

If you are new to camping or just want to play and learn outside, join us for 7 days at camp. Backpack or canoe into a nearby state park for your first overnight in the forest. See parts of nature you never knew were there. Get away from it all and relax with new friends!

Foundation Course (7th and 8th Grade)

Join us for a 2 week adventure where you will go on 3-day backpacking and canoeing trips to learn survival skills such as identifying wild foods you can eat and building a fire. See how team work makes it all possible!

Advanced Course (8th and 9th Grade)

In this 18-day session, you will paddle down a river from Vermont to New York for 3 days, and hike the Appalachian Trail to the top of Massachusetts’ highest mountain. You will also begin to discover your personal leadership abilities and how to protect the wilderness you’re enjoying

High School Leadership Training Course

During this 11-day course, you will co-lead your friends as you spend 5 days hiking or canoeing together. The Manice staff are ready to support you through these exciting challenges that prepare you to use your leadership skills both in the outdoors and in your daily life!

CAMP FACILITIES: All camp activities are held on the college campus. Accommodations are in the college dorms located within walking distance of the dining hall and athletic training facilities.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Collegiate Soccer Academy (CSA) is designed for high school students who are interested in playing soccer at the collegiate level. CSA is uniquely designed to provide a fuller experience than the vast majority of summer soccer programs by providing both on and off the field training. Off the field training sessions include: SAT prep, Sports Yoga, ACL Prevention, NCAA compliance, Q&A with College Coaches, Q&A with College student-athletes, Speed & Agility, and Strength Training. Aside from competitive soccer training and playing opportunities, CSA offers off the field training sessions including SAT prep, Sports Yoga, ACL Prevention, NCAA compliance, Q&A with College Coaches, Q&A with College student-athletes, Speed & Agility, & Strength Training.

At CSA, your child will be under the tutelage of two collegiate coaches and receive separate evaluations from both. CSA addresses the main reason why teenagers attend summer training camps - to improve their chances of admittance into collegiate soccer programs.

Our staff is comprised exclusively of active college coaches. The 2016 staff includes representation of over 35 colleges/universities.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have 45 cabins, with the boys bunks on one half and the girls bunks on the other. All of our facilities are state of the art including a brand new gymnastics center, indoor field house including basketball courts along with a dance studio and weights room. Our outdoor amphitheater is set in the pines, and 11 tennis courts are set in the mountains.

Our lake accommodates waterskiing, wake boarding, sailing, windsurfing, swimming, and an inflatable obstacle course. The lodge has a stage for all theatrical performances, as well as a movie theater and all purpose facility for the entire camp.

We want all of our campers to return home feeling that they really improved in some area of interest.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: C.I.T. (Counselor In Training Program): The C.I.T. program gives our most mature campers, who are entering the 8th and 9th grades, a feel for what it take to be a counselor, while still having the opportunity to participate in all of the great activities at Maplewood.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Accredited Day Camp in South Easton, MA seeks teachers or individuals with education certification to work with children ages 3-14. You will be responsible for leading groups of children through their daily activities. Applicant will also be responsible for supervising other staff members. Individuals must have prior experience working with children.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Jack Rua Camp for Children with Diabetes is a friendly place where youth with diabetes, their siblings and friends benefit from hands-on learning experiences in diabetes management and support within a fun and welcoming environment.

Our mission is to foster friendships among children with diabetes, their siblings and friends through a safe, active program while enabling them to learn about and face the common challenges of diabetes.

Camp Jack is Accredited by the American Camp Association and is a member of the Diabetes Education and Camping Association. We have a Registered Nurse on site at all times and each of our staff are trained by a Certified Diabetes Educator. The Simmons Prospect Clinic is designed specifically for high school girls that want to experience collegiate soccer training sessions and learn more about the recruiting process. Simmons Sharks Soccer School welcomes soccer players ages 6-14 who want to develop their soccer skills in a fun and encouraging environment. This program is designed for all player levels, ranging from beginner to experienced. Players will be grouped by age and/or ability to offer them a challenging curriculum that will have them leaving camp with a new confidence and love for the game. CAMP FACILITIES: We have a 15,000 square foot training facility and we use a 22 foot water slide in our backyard for even more fun.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our camp has been running in this same location for 25 years. We have USA Gymnastics safety certified coaches. Our gymnast to coach ratio is 8:1. We love children and our focus in teaching in a fun productive manner with the interest of the child as priority number one. We treat each child like they are our own.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: We run year round gymnastics training for 18 months to 18 years both recreational and competitive programs available. We also offer Martial Arts.

CAMP FACILITIES: The main building at Belvoir is a historical mansion built in 1886, one of the Lenox great estates landscaped by Olmstead who created central park in New York City. There are now eighteen buildings on the site including four modern dorms subdivded into bunk rooms, four dancing studios, fifteen art studios, twenty two music studios, five theaters, two pools, six tennis courts, lawns, wooded paths, gardens, and all with a view of the Berkshire hills.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Belvoir is an individualized six week educational summer program with excellent teaching in all program areas. The fifteen MFA art teachers offer small classes in drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, fibers, black and white and digital photography and jewelry. Girls can elect one or many studio classes. The dance faculty teach graded classes of ballet, pointe, modern, jazz and tap. Belvoir has an appropriately challenging and fun dance class for every girl and all dancers enjoy performance opportunities. The large graduate music faculty offer twice weekly music lessons in all instruments and voice. There are opportunities for recitals, chamber music, opera, and orchestra.

Belvoir has a large theater program. Classes are offered in acting, musical theater and Shakespeare, with many large, quality performances in 4 theaters (2 indoor air-conditioned theaters). The department also offers writing, costuming and all aspects of technical theater. Campers enjoy high level sports instruction in tennis, swimming and riding. Archery, volleyball and basketball are also offered at Belvoir. The totally choice program, the supportive welcoming staff and campership make Belvoir a unique opportunity for young women excited about learning in the arts. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The campers have opportunities to learn leadership skills from an early age. Belvoir's program is based on each individual camper's choice. Through this individual programming, each camper is learning leadership skills. Also, various age groups have opportunities to lead part of, or the entire, evening activity. Learning how to work together, come up with a common theme, and structure the event adds to the leadership experience.

CAMP FACILITIES: Located only one hour west of Boston, picturesque Worcester State University spans 58 acres in the residential west side of Worcester, Massachusetts.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Attend a camp where all aspects of soccer are covered. Instruction is available to boys and girls, ages 10-18, playing at any ability level from beginner to advanced. Players are grouped based on their skill level on the first day. All positions receive catered instruction including goalies. Individuals and teams are welcome.

A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring. Physical forms from within one year of camp are accepted and collected on the first day of camp.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: "The Premier Soccer Training System" - implements our step by step process of physical technique DEMONSTRATIONS, You then IMITATE these demonstrated skills/techniques in training, we then give you the opportunity to EXECUTE these skills in competition with our continued expert guidance and coaching. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: All of our staff at Summer Fenn are 18 years or older and their talent, energy, experience, and dedication are absolutely unmatched! Most are teaching professionals and college aged students studying education or recreation.

At Summer Fenn, we are committed to guiding and celebrating our campers as they make choices about how to participate in our many programs. We challenge each camper to take responsibility for his or her own actions and attitudes, making the experience a positive one for everyone. OTHER CAMP INFO: All campers enrolled in Base Camp and Special Programs have the opportunity to participate in Electives. Electives give campers the opportunity to make choices while here at camp, whether its delving into a specific program area they enjoy or challenging themselves to try something new. Each week, campers choose from a variety of creative, active and fun activities, allowing them to tailor their own Summer Fenn experience.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our school is made up of 4 buildings. We house 70 dorm rooms, a dining hall, classrooms, library, media centers and much more. We have 6 tennis courts, an outdoor pool, fitness center, art and theater areas. Outside we are set on 100 acres of land that include forest and vast open spaces. Our barn is our pride and joy and at this point is the home to 35 school horses.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Speak Up I: Introduction to Debate and Public Speaking Camp is designed for campers who have little or no experience in speaking in front of a group. Our goals are to have fun and learn some ways to use our voices effectively.

Speak Up II: This camp is designed for high school students ready to refresh, refine, and advance their public speaking skills. Gain confidence as you learn from and with others who are seeking to enhance their voice powers/amplify their voices? in a fun, supportive environment!

Performing Arts: Campers will take part in dance, voice and theater.

Bonnie Castle Equestrian: Premiere riding camp for beginner and experienced riders. This summer we will be offering the British Horse Society Program challenge awards, where campers will work at their own pace to complete learning opportunities as equestrians.

Campers are taught by Stoneleigh-Burnham staff. Counselors for the residential programs are CPR and first aid certified as well as we complete criminal offender and sex offender background checks.

Speak Up camps are for debate and public speaking. Campers will learn the art of conversational and competitive speaking. As well as learn to use their voce for effective communication and advocacy.
