CAMP FACILITIES: We have 27 holes of golf along with a full practice range, including a short game area as well as a large practice putting green.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our golf camp is under the direction of Kristin White - Program Director and Zack Anderton - Junior Golf Coordinator. We employ a list of PGA and LPGA instructors along with Certified Instructors. We limit our camps to a 6:1 student to instructor ratio. Junior golfers will not only learn about the game of golf, but also hone their golf skills for our advanced players. We also incorporated games that help to develop their golf skills as well. We include 20 hours of instruction, 5 Days a week.

July 5 – 8 Karate Arts Got Talent: America’s Got Talent is a fan favorite show that allows anyone to compete with a variety of acts. This is the ultimate talent show. So it’s time to show the world your Secret Talent! No Camp on Monday July 4th

July 11 – 15 Be A Movie Star Camp: During this camp, children will write a script, create and produce the set, and Star in their very own Movie. Each child will take home their copy of the Karate Arts Movie Camp Production for the entire family to laugh with and enjoy.

July 18 – 22 DIY Pinterest Projects Camp: During this camp, children will create and make very cool Pinterest DIY projects, and each child will take home their creations for the entire family to enjoy. There will other activities trough out the week like Water Day.

August 8 – 12 Bully Buster / Predators Beware Camp: With school starting back next week, this camp will teach campers how to stay safe in an increasingly dangerous world. They will learn how to recognize what bullying is and how to stand up to it safely and Gain self-confidence. Also we will have a Stranger Danger Awareness class for all campers.

CAMP FACILITIES: Contained within a 116-acre plot of land, the 6,701-yard, par-70 course is short by golf standards today. However, a $4 million renovation project in 2001 by Jacksonville-based architect Bobby Weed transformed the contour of the landscape, creating a course that is both physically and mentally challenging.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Gator Golf Camp offers an array of daytime activities that include playing golf and instruction, while the evenings offer a variety of entertaining and informative seminars, including a closer look at the mental side of golf. Aspects such as visualization, self-talk, tension, anxiety, and self-doubt will be discussed. We also make time to do some fun activities which may include a trip to the movies, swimming, bowling, or an athletic event.

An interesting feature of the Gator Golf Camp is our Player/Coaches Panel. This is a forum where we will discuss all aspects of collegiate golf. Areas covered will include academic requirements and tournaments.

Gator Golf Camp brings together a great staff of golf coaches, PGA professionals, and University of Florida golf team members to guide the campers on their way to better golf.

* Camp Director, Mark Leon is the Assistant Coach of the Florida Gators Men's Golf Team. Mark is in his 3rd season at Florida coming from his alma mater Penn State.

*Associate Head Women's Golf Coach, Janice Olivencia is in her 8th year at the University of Florida. She is a two time All-American and has spent time on both the LPGA Futures Tour and European Tour. Janice was a member of the Puerto Rico National Golf Team and is fluent in Spanish and English.

In addition to the more technical aspects of the game, the Gator Golf Camp will also extensively cover proper practice routines, tournament preparation, course management, rules, mental training techniques, nutrition and equipment.

We have brought together a great staff of golf coaches, PGA professionals, and current University of Florida golf team members to guide the campers on their way to better golf. In addition to play and golf instruction, campers participate in intramurals, movies, and other recreational activities. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: San Pedro Catholic Camp is staffed by qualified young men and women who are active in Church ministry and have a deep sense of God in their own lives. All staff members have been screened by the State of Florida, fingerprinted by the Diocese of Orlando, and are well trained for their positions, including certification on working with young people in a safe environment through the American Camp Association.

Overnight and Day Camp participants are offered an opportunity to unplug from distractions and take a step back from everyday life to create important lasting relationships. CAMP FACILITIES: Great facility with 2 large dance rooms with sprung floors for the safety and well fair of students. A changing room, reception area, and bathrooms.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The themed kiddie camps are dedicated to children ages 3 - 6 years of age. The program allows children to explore various types of dance forms such as ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz, acrobatics and flamenco. Children are given daily dance related arts and crafts projects. The program also allows children to further develop their love of dance through stories. Children learn to express themselves through dance in a creative, energetic and nurturing environment. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Sunset Lakes offers one to nine week sessions with programming that no other camps offer, waterskiing slalom, tricking, jumping as well as wake boarding, wake skating, wake surfing, and paddle boarding. As well as off time activities of beach volley ball, basketball, slack line, ping pong, and air hockey.

In the evening students are taken for bowling, movies, go karting, miniature golf, shopping, and ice cream.

For multiple week campers the weekends are planned for one of the parks ( Disney, Universal, Sea World, Wet and Wild, tubing down a Florida river or spring, wake surfing on local large lake, trip to a Florida beach.

Our philosophy is to treat every camper as if they are the only one at camp. Every session is with a personal coach. All of our coaches have been hand picked out of our own seasoned campers . Each coach carries a coaching certificate has been trained in emergency programs, CPR and first aide. All of our staff strive to be great mentors in the cabins and on the water.

Our program is managed by Jack and Christopher Travers both level three USA Coaches. both multiple times United States Water Ski Team Coaches as well as U. s. Olympic Water Ski Coaches of the Year. Jonathan and Natallia (Berdnikava) Travers both elite international water skiers and U.S. and Belarus National Waterski Team Members and World Champions and Record holders round out the lake management team.. All four of the above can be found coaching both beginners and elite skiers in our programs.

Lelani Travers a Purdue University graduate and prior school teacher is in charge of all the house keeping booking and kitchen staff and is our first contact person for first aide.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have 3 concrete barns, and one wood barn with walk out stalls attached. During the winter season our farm is home to 80 horses. During the off months of the summer, we still have around 65 horses. Our facility has 3 private riding arenas, and lots of grassy paddocks.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Delray Equestrian Center camp program combines qualified staff, experienced horses, and a beautiful 24 acre facility. In the DEC atmosphere campers can advance their horseback riding skills, expand their horsemanship knowledge, and enjoy riding with friends. Campers will be expanding their knowledge and interests in show western pleasure or English hunter/jumper/equitation, or just for pleasure riding. Camp is also about taking care of the horses, learning about them, getting to know them, and communicating with them.

Our horse camp features horses ranging from experienced A circuit show horses, to seasoned beginner ponies, and the wonderful patient beginner horse.

Our equestrian staff is qualified to teach riders of all ages ranging from 2 to older adults, and of all experiences. Young beginners play mounted games and get to learn all about their favorite horses, while others may learn to post, jog, lope, canter, trail or jump. More advanced riders will be able to jump through hunter or jumper courses.

Delray Equestrian Center started in 2009. Our facility has been around for over 30 years. We have many resident clients who have been here for as many as 15 years including the managers and head groomsman. At one time this farm was home to Thoroughbred racing horses. They would even swim the horses up and down the lake for exercise.

Riding programs are offered all throughout the year. Special programs are set in place for the individual whether they are the weekend rider or the serious competitor. Our students show from the A rated local shows, to some away shows in various places like Kentucky at the State Horse Park or the Carolinas to Saugerties New York for Marshall Sterling Finals, to the smaller beginner local circuits. They leave plenty of time for play for destination trail rides, BBQs, farm shows, and clinics.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: YMCA Camp Winona provides a great traditional, overnight camping experience. We try to balance tradition with the interests of today’s campers by offering fun, exciting and safe activities. There are up to 12 campers and two staff in each cabin surrounding centrally located bathhouses. Our meals are prepared by our camp chefs and served family style in our air conditioned dining hall. We have a boys dorm and a girls dorm each with 32 camper capacity. Counselor to camper ratio is 6:1 at night so counselors stay in the dorm with campers all night. With so much to do, campers can stay for multiple weeks with no additional charge for overnights between sessions and we also offer laundry service free of charge!

The Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida Visitor Center is home to the Cypress Restaurant, the Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida Marketplace and serves as the departure point for fun safaris offered through Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida.

Being a camp counselor is a great summer job for college students. Our CIT program is a great way for young adults to gain the necessary experience and qualities needed to secure a job. Many camps look for past camp experience or CIT program experience. We prefer our CIT’s be past Camp Illahaw campers but it isn’t required.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Everglades Youth Conservation Camp is an American Camp Association (ACA) accredited facility, meeting all ACA health, safety, and program quality standards.

The Youth Camp was created in the 1960's by individuals who cared deeply about conservation, protecting wilderness areas, wildlife in natural habitats and preserving a way of life.

The camp facility is managed by the Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Residential summer camp programs are for children completing 3rd – 8th grade.

The EYCC also offers a Leadership Camp for youth completing grades 9th – 12th grade. Summer camp activities challenge camper’s physical, mental and social growth. Group leaders and instructors serve as guides through camp life and activities, mentors and role models. EYCC’s summer programs feature a unique conservation education theme with outdoor adventure activities in the Florida Everglades, as well as time to relax, have fun and make new friends. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The EYCC provides a volunteer opportunity for high school students to assist with various tasks around the camp during the summer season. The leadership camp utilizes high school students to help in the dining hall as well as assist staff to ensure campers have a fun-filled and exciting time at camp. All leadership campers will receive training about the programs we offer, how to interact with children, and the various roles of staff required for a residential camp. 80 Community Service hours are awarded for the two weeks of volunteer service to the camp.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): The Cardinal Parent’s Association (CPA)
Designed to allow the parents of campers a chance to
be a part of the activities at Camp Cardinal. A C.P.A members is essentially a parent counselor, assisting with various field trips and activities on a day to day basis.

Requirements
1. Every family is Eligible Parents must sign up within the program’s
set deadlines (C.P.A DOES NOT discriminate against race, creed, and /or religion) This program is strictly based upon a first come – first serve basis. (There are only three C.P.A positions available per session)

2. Must be a biological parent and/or rightful guardian of child.

3. Willing to work with children other than your own.

4. Must be physically active and able to participate in all activities.

5. Last but not least, Willing to have fun!

Rules and Regulations
1. A C.P.A member will act as a head counselor to his/her assigned group.

2. A C.P.A member cannot be a head counselor over his/her child’s group.

3. A C.P.A member must Chaperon various field trips and activities
such as (Late nights).

Agreement
1. Regarding your child’s itinerary you are required to commit
to a certain number of hours per session.
