CAMP FACILITIES: Whispering Manes is located on a private 5-acre property. We have a 12 stall barn and covered, outdoor patios with ceiling fans, a covered riding arena and enclosed conference area in case of inclement weather.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Whispering Manes Therapeutic Riding Center was opened in January 2012 and we offer year round therapeutic horseback riding lessons. Our certified instructors have over ten years of experience teaching horseback riding to people with disabilities. Our summer camp offer participants a fun filled week of equine assisted activities. CAMP FACILITIES: We have 27 holes of golf along with a full practice range, including a short game area as well as a large practice putting green.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our golf camp is under the direction of Kristin White - Program Director and Zack Anderton - Junior Golf Coordinator. We employ a list of PGA and LPGA instructors along with Certified Instructors. We limit our camps to a 6:1 student to instructor ratio. Junior golfers will not only learn about the game of golf, but also hone their golf skills for our advanced players. We also incorporated games that help to develop their golf skills as well. We include 20 hours of instruction, 5 Days a week.

The Junior Golf Foundation of America's mission is to provide all children the opportunity to learn and play the game of golf. The JGFA focuses on instilling the concept that golf is "More than a Game." This is accomplished through our comprehensive education and development program. Through golf, our purpose is to teach positive life values to our children, including honor, integrity, self-discipline, pride, respect, responsibility and sportsmanship.

CAMP FACILITIES: We feel that a camp experience should be one filed with the allure of living outdoors. Part of the experience is the soothing sounds of the Florida night. Our rustic cabins give the camper the perfect blend of the outdoor experience and a few comforts of home. Our cabins have 12-16 bunks, ceiling fans, power, storage shelves and a front porch. Teen campers enrolled in Camp Warrior live in more modern cabins complete with air conditioning, lofts, and a kitchenette. Bathhouses are located next to the cabin areas. Each bathhouse features toilets, sinks, and private shower stalls.

The flagship of our facilities is our newer 14,000 square foot activities center complete with 24 stall center isle barn, with tack rooms, wash bays, bathrooms and indoor skatepark. This 40 acre facility also houses our new high ropes challenge course designed by Project Adventure and our ATV track. Next to our activities center is our new camp office which includes a recording studio and comfortable, climate controlled activity room for Camp Warrior. An extensive renovation plan is in place over the next three years that will transform camp!

Another high point of Camp Indian Springs facilities is our natural fresh water spring. This natural wonder is over 40′ deep in some places! For most of the year the water flows clear and it always remains a refreshing 68 degrees. Indian Springs is internationally know as one of the best cave systems in the world to dive. Unfortunately we can’t offer this to our campers but we stay very busy catering to the divers in the off season. Tours can be arranged with Cave Connections.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Indian Springs, first established in 1965, is a fun-filled, action packed private summer resident camp for boys and girls ages 7-16. Located on 77 acres, camp is nestled beside the wooded springs of beautiful Wakulla Springs State Park amidst the Apalachicola and Wakulla Forest of North Florida. Camp Indian Springs offers a summer experience rich in fun, friendship, learning and extreme adventure. Camp Indian Springs is truly a place where a summer will last a lifetime!

Indian Springs counselors are great role models who are focused on the needs of campers, both in the cabins and in classes. What makes Camp Indian Springs stand out above the rest is our 90% staff return rate. Unlike most other summer camps you will not find a staff search on our web site or a Craigslist ad seeking staff. This is due to our extensive C.I.T. (Counselor-In-Training) program and high staff retention rate. Growing a staff within creates a competitive and safe environment to select the best of the best. More than half the staff have been at camp five years or more. All counselors are carefully selected for their camp skills and must possess superb references. All staff must go through an intensive one week staff training which includes effective cabin leadership, teaching skills, emergency procedures, CPR, first aide and a parent to counselor open forum.

High Seas Adventure Camp on our 70 foot yacht. Campers will get the chance to be on the crew of a real yacht as they travel. They will also experience treasure hunts as well as ride jet skis, and use our yachter-slide.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Our C.I.T. program is one of our most valued Camp Indian Springs program. This program is vital to the success of our camp. This is where we grow the future camp staff and world leaders of tomorrow. Our Counselor In Training program is the first step to become a camp staff member. The program is for campers age 15 to 17 who desire to become camp staff. The program is designed to teach young men and women to become productive leaders and staff members. A majority of the camp’s current staff have come up through our C.I.T. program.

C.I.T.s are placed in a younger cabin with a Senior and Junior counselor and have a vital role in cabin leadership. C.I.Ts also take a C.I.T. only class and assist in other classes throughout the day.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): We are open year round for group retreats, family camps, family reunions, and any other event possible.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: We are open year-round for a tremendous and unforgettable experience for the whole family, school, sports team, or any other group! OTHER CAMP INFO: The Project Endeavor Experience takes students and faculty from around the globe and works with each participant to hone their skills and talents. Each participant will be assigned a team and each team will work with a team leader to design a project or perform a routine or create a masterpiece that will be shown to members of that given field at a final banquet. The team that is elected by members of that profession will be honored at the event and will be able to meet with the judges. As a part of the Project Endeavor experience, each team will base their project and the competition on behalf of a local charitable organization. The winning team will receive a donation on its behalf from Project Endeavor to the selected organization.

CAMP FACILITIES: Campers sleep in a fully furnished and comfortable lodge which has been upgraded for wheelchair accessibility, with separate accommodations in the same building for male and female campers. CAMP FACILITIES: Great facility with 2 large dance rooms with sprung floors for the safety and well fair of students. A changing room, reception area, and bathrooms.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The themed kiddie camps are dedicated to children ages 3 - 6 years of age. The program allows children to explore various types of dance forms such as ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz, acrobatics and flamenco. Children are given daily dance related arts and crafts projects. The program also allows children to further develop their love of dance through stories. Children learn to express themselves through dance in a creative, energetic and nurturing environment. Programs are two weeks long per session. Imagination is brought into play as they learn to dance with their favorite movie characters! Family and friends are invited to come on the last day of the session to a small showing.

Dance Intensives are offered to students at the age of 8 years or older. It is designed for all levels of dance to further develop their technique while experiencing other forms of dance such as Modern Dance, Improvisation and Composition. Pirouettes, Stretch & Strength will be the main focuses. Campers will put on an end-of-intensive showing for family and friends.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: CHESS: The main objective of this program is the use of chess playing as a tool to improve your child’s: self confidence, imagination, concentration and intuition, logical and critical thinking, and reasoning skills.

Each student has the use of a chess book as we work together. We do wall board activities and students play at the giant board outside where they get to be the knight queen or king!

At the end of the summer each student gets to take home their own chess board made of wood with the pieces made of clay!

We also offer a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program for Grades 9-10. Our CIT Program prepares teens to work at camp. CITs are placed with a camper group and participate in workshops to learn child care and leadership skills, and gain valuable work experience.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Camp J is a program of the Jack & Lee Rosen Jewish Community Center. We are a cultural institution whose mission is to serve local families and our entire community. Jewish values and culture are the foundation from which we derive our mission. We believe that these values – such as respect, honestly, friendship, and community – are universal.

The Southwest Orlando community is incredibly diverse, and this diversity is embraced in all of our programming. Our goal is to make all campers feel comfortable and included. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Live Oak is a children's day camp working in a cooperative effort with Florida’s State Park System to provide an environmental experience. We offer a unique opportunity for kids to experience the wonder and joy of curiosity, discovery and new knowledge in regards to nature in general and unique ecosystems in the Ft. Lauderdale and Dania beach.

In addition to our wonderful summer camp programs, we offer winter and spring camp experiences. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: This teen program features wide variety of activities and fantastic field trips that your teen is sure to love! Weekly Options all Summer Long! – Teens can participate in weekly programs all summer long. This program will be a combination of volunteer work within the assigned cabin groups and activities or field trips designed specifically for teens. Teens will be assigned to a camper group (ages 5 – 9) which they will work alongside certified teachers and college students guiding campers through a series of outdoor activities. The time that they work with the groups they earn community service hours for high school. In addition, they will come together with the Teen Eco coordinator and participate in a variety of activities or field trips.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Camp Live Oak allows your child to explore the world around them here in South Florida, enjoying the many aspects of our beautiful environment! Each Camp Live Oak session and week is centered around a theme, with activities and programs built around that theme. Understanding the local natural environment and developing a respect and stewardship for that environment is vital to our program. The integration of science and art into each week allows for creativity and enthusiasm for learning and doing.

Campers enjoy swimming, canoeing, science, kayaking, arts and crafts, sports, surfing, fishing, paddle boarding and archery every week that they are at camp, with different activities rotating on various days. Exciting and educational field trips, guest speakers and specialty programs are scheduled regularly to give your child an extremely well rounded day camp experience!

Remember, you may register for as many, or as few, weeks as you’d like, there is no minimum number of weeks.

We highly recommend children attend for at least two weeks so they are able to have a full camp experience, but we are flexible as we know your summer schedule may be full of fun activities.

CAMP FACILITIES: Freedom is an authentic replica of a nineteenth century blockade-runner. She is a double masted, gaff-rigged, topsail schooner. Naval architect Merritt Walters and his marine construction company, Rover Marine, Inc., designed and built Freedom, the first of his many Rover schooners, in 1982 in Norfolk, Virginia.

The Schooner Freedom is built of steel with aluminum masts and spars. The Freedom’s sparred length is 76 feet while her length on deck is 64 feet. Freedom’s beam is a 15 feet 4 inches and her draft is a little less than 6 feet. Her mast height is 62 feet and she carries a total sail area of 2400 feet. She has bunks for 20 overnight passengers, 2 captains, and 4 crew. She has a complete galley, salon, and head. She carries all the appropriate safety and life saving gear, which, along with the crew and vessel, is inspected and licensed by the United States Coast Guard on an annual basis.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: This upcoming summer we are proud to announce that we will be offering 2 one week-long sailing camps. Sailors will be placed in the week that corresponds with the grade they will be entering. The sailing camp introduces teens to life aboard a classic schooner while sailing the northeast Florida and southeast Georgia coast.

Campers will come aboard and take over! We will have a blast sailing, fishing, swimming, exploring barrier islands, kayaking, and making memories to last a lifetime. Parents will be kept updated on their sailors location and fun by frequent blog posts and a closed Facebook group, updated at least twice daily.

Nothing gives a sailor more joy than knowing they can confidently take the helm or set a sail on a tall ship. Our goal is to instill in our sailors a respect for the ocean, a love for the traditions of tall ship sailing, and, more than anything, to experience the sheer joy of a fresh breeze in the sails, the glory of a starry night at anchorage, and the bonding that takes place between a crew at sea.

Our captains are all 100 tons Masters, licensed by the United States Coast Guard, with certifications in sailing, as well as CPR and First Aid. Our captains and crew are all subject to pre-employment and random alcohol and drug tests, monitored by the U.S. Coast Guard. Our captains and crew combine for a total of over 50 years of traditional tall ship sailing experience.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Learn to surf or improve your surfing skills this Summer Break with Living Water Surf School, presented by Quiksilver and professional surfer William “Skeeter” Zimmerman. Skeeter and his staff of accomplished instructors will help you enjoy and appreciate the ocean and experience the supreme pleasures of The Sport of Kings. Skeeter has shared his passion for surfing and knowledge of the sport with thousands of students during his 12years as a surf instructor. His expertise is strengthened by his friendship with other professional surfers who will make guest appearances at the camp and assist Skeeter and his staff of CPR certified and life guard trained instructors.

Instruction will focus around Ocean Awareness and Surfing Fundamentals. In addition, students will learn firsthand about such topics as waves and tides, marine biology, coastal ecology, and beach profiles. Students may also participate in skimboarding, snorkeling, beach games, and towed tubing or wakesurfing (Wave runners driven by instructors only).

Each week will culminate with a surf contest, complimentary pizza party, and giveaways from Quiksilver,Roxy, and area surf shops.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: San Pedro Catholic Camp is staffed by qualified young men and women who are active in Church ministry and have a deep sense of God in their own lives. All staff members have been screened by the State of Florida, fingerprinted by the Diocese of Orlando, and are well trained for their positions, including certification on working with young people in a safe environment through the American Camp Association.

Overnight and Day Camp participants are offered an opportunity to unplug from distractions and take a step back from everyday life to create important lasting relationships. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Everglades Youth Conservation Camp is an American Camp Association (ACA) accredited facility, meeting all ACA health, safety, and program quality standards.

The Youth Camp was created in the 1960's by individuals who cared deeply about conservation, protecting wilderness areas, wildlife in natural habitats and preserving a way of life.

The camp facility is managed by the Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Residential summer camp programs are for children completing 3rd – 8th grade.

The EYCC also offers a Leadership Camp for youth completing grades 9th – 12th grade. Summer camp activities challenge camper’s physical, mental and social growth. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The EYCC provides a volunteer opportunity for high school students to assist with various tasks around the camp during the summer season. The leadership camp utilizes high school students to help in the dining hall as well as assist staff to ensure campers have a fun-filled and exciting time at camp.
