CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Nageela offers campers ages 5-13 an extraordinary 6-week experience of fun and character growth. Camp Nageela is dedicated to providing your child with a safe and exciting camp program that integrates Jewish values and traditions into daily camp life.

The Camp Nageela experience is comprised of a wealth of activities and specialty programming. Arts & crafts, swimming, basketball, baseball soccer, track & field, and superb field trips are some of the regular activities to go along with those "special days" sprinkled throughout the summer. Our extensive program, experienced on our expansive grounds, provides Nageela campers with the opportunity to develop their skills while experiencing the summer of a lifetime!

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: We have a special grant for single, working mothers, who need financial aid. Other than that we offer generous referral discounts.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Keshet provides a safe, warm, nurturing and FUN environment with developmentally appropriate activities and facilities, our program is specifically designed to meet the individual needs of each young Camp Keshet camper.

Campers enjoy their very own magical and self-contained part of the Bnai Torah campus where groups are kept small and staffing is extensive. Our youngest campers participate in a great blend of age-appropriate activities that are led by trained specialists and are designed to develop their physical, social and creative skills.

CAMP FACILITIES: All program activities and accommodations are at The Grand Palms Hotel and Golf Resort in Pembroke Pines, FL.

CAMP FACILITIES: Freedom is an authentic replica of a nineteenth century blockade-runner. She is a double masted, gaff-rigged, topsail schooner. Naval architect Merritt Walters and his marine construction company, Rover Marine, Inc., designed and built Freedom, the first of his many Rover schooners, in 1982 in Norfolk, Virginia.

The Schooner Freedom is built of steel with aluminum masts and spars. The Freedom’s sparred length is 76 feet while her length on deck is 64 feet. Freedom’s beam is a 15 feet 4 inches and her draft is a little less than 6 feet. Her mast height is 62 feet and she carries a total sail area of 2400 feet. She has bunks for 20 overnight passengers, 2 captains, and 4 crew. She has a complete galley, salon, and head. She carries all the appropriate safety and life saving gear, which, along with the crew and vessel, is inspected and licensed by the United States Coast Guard on an annual basis.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: This upcoming summer we are proud to announce that we will be offering 2 one week-long sailing camps. Sailors will be placed in the week that corresponds with the grade they will be entering. The sailing camp introduces teens to life aboard a classic schooner while sailing the northeast Florida and southeast Georgia coast.

Campers will come aboard and take over! We will have a blast sailing, fishing, swimming, exploring barrier islands, kayaking, and making memories to last a lifetime. Parents will be kept updated on their sailors location and fun by frequent blog posts and a closed Facebook group, updated at least twice daily.

Nothing gives a sailor more joy than knowing they can confidently take the helm or set a sail on a tall ship. Our goal is to instill in our sailors a respect for the ocean, a love for the traditions of tall ship sailing, and, more than anything, to experience the sheer joy of a fresh breeze in the sails, the glory of a starry night at anchorage, and the bonding that takes place between a crew at sea.

Our captains are all 100 tons Masters, licensed by the United States Coast Guard, with certifications in sailing, as well as CPR and First Aid. Our captains and crew are all subject to pre-employment and random alcohol and drug tests, monitored by the U.S. Coast Guard. Our captains and crew combine for a total of over 50 years of traditional tall ship sailing experience.

The cost of the 1 week camp is $1350 per camper and includes all meals and camp t-shirts. A 50% deposit is due upon acceptance to the camp with the balance due one month before departure.

Spots are limited and booked on a first come, first served basis.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We offer three main camp programs including:

Camp J Traditional Camp for children entering grades K-8 provides a well-rounded traditional camp program every week. Campers are placed into groups by age, and participate in a variety of activities like arts and crafts, recreation, music, science, dance, cooking and more!

Camp J Sports is an instructional and recreational sports program within the framework of the General Camp. Campers are placed into a group based on age and skill level, and practice and compete in a variety of sports including basketball, baseball, soccer, hockey, volleyball, dodgeball, and more!

Specialty Camps give campers the opportunity to focus on learning new skills within a specific program area. Ages and dates vary by program. Programs this summer include theater, basketball, art, science, dance and more!

Our new director of Camp J, Betsy has been working at camp for 25 years. It’s a magical place where kids can be themselves and feel accepted and cared for. It’s also a place of learning and growth, where campers can explorer their interests and find out about ones they never had! Our inclusive camp community embraces all campers and gives them all a chance to shine. We hope your family will become part of the Camp J family this summer!

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: We offer a Leadership Development Program for Grades 6-8. This program is the perfect blend of fun at camp, with experiential learning to put them on the path to becoming camp counselors. Participants spend time working with younger campers, learning through hands-on leadership training, and go on a special field trip just for the age group.

We also offer a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program for Grades 9-10. Our CIT Program prepares teens to work at camp. CITs are placed with a camper group and participate in workshops to learn child care and leadership skills, and gain valuable work experience.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: School's Out Days: Pack even more fun into your summer! Our School’s Out Day mini-camp program on Thursday, May 31 and Friday, June 1 bridge the end of school and the start of camp.

Saturday Night Out: Each month, the JCC also offers its
Saturday Night Out program for children. Drop your kids off for a fun night of pizza, games and activities with their friends and favorite counselors, while you enjoy a
night out! The program runs 6-11 p.m.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Camp J is a program of the Jack & Lee Rosen Jewish Community Center. We are a cultural institution whose mission is to serve local families and our entire community. Jewish values and culture are the foundation from which we derive our mission. We believe that these values – such as respect, honestly, friendship, and community – are universal.

The Southwest Orlando community is incredibly diverse, and this diversity is embraced in all of our programming. Our goal is to make all campers feel comfortable and included. We are not a religious institution, although we sometimes sing songs with Hebrew words (usually the word “shalom”, or “peace” is a prominent theme), and we do a brief Shabbat celebration on Friday afternoon, which includes a song session filled with spirit (“ruach”) and eating challah bread. We also bring a counselor from Israel to lead our arts and crafts activities, with the intention of exposing our children to a different culture and building a relationship between our communities.

CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Illahaw’s “Cow-Town” Look. Camp Illahaw sports the theme of “Old Florida”. Our Mess Hall, Bathhouse, Counselor Cabin, and Recreation Room are the beginning of Main Street. Boys and Girls Dorm

Set in the style of an old-Florida cracker-town from the 1800′s, our dormitories and activity rooms serve as the perfect home base for the week’s activities. We have a boys dorm and a girls dorm each with 32 camper capacity. Counselor to camper ratio is 6:1 at night so counselors stay in the dorm with campers all night. With so much to do, campers can stay for multiple weeks with no additional charge for overnights between sessions and we also offer laundry service free of charge!

The Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida Visitor Center is home to the Cypress Restaurant, the Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida Marketplace and serves as the departure point for fun safaris offered through Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Illahaw is owned and operated by the Allen Broussard Conservancy, a non-profit organization established in 1991. Since 2005, Camp Illahaw has offered campers the chance to experience all Florida has to offer with a diverse selection of fun activities from Horseback Trail Rides; Arena Activities; Florida History/Heritage; Low Ropes Challenge Course; Hiking; Kayaking; Archery; Shooting; Swimming, Paintball*; and our “unique” Outdoor Survival Activity*. We are home to Central Florida’s longest zipline and a full Eco Park Safari which includes the first roller coaster zipline in the United States!

At Camp Illahaw, not only do we concentrate on camper activities but also their social interactions under the guidance of camp directors and counselors assuring a safe and fun experience for everyone. All camp employees are certified in CPR and First Aid annually. As required by Florida State Law they are also fingerprinted and verified through the FBI and Child Protective Services.

Camp Illahaw hosts campers from all over the world from as far away as Spain, France, Germany and Russia! Many of our counselors also come from around the world England, Scotland, Germany, New Zealand, Poland, Iceland, Turkey, Australia and South Africa. They are sponsored by Camp America

Camp Illahaw offers eight (8) one week overnight sessions beginning June 8th thru August 2nd for summer 2014. Boys and Girls ages 10 to 15 are eligible to attend. The camp is owned and operated by the Allen Broussard Conservancy, a nonprofit organization.

We are located in St. Cloud, Florida on a 4700 acre ranch known as Florida Eco Safaris at Forever Florida. Campers get to experience life on a real Florida ranch and explore Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida’s 9 diverse ecosystems while they are learning horseback skills, enjoying indoor and outdoor activities. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Ages 16 to 17

The CIT Program seeks to teach young people about responsibility, authority, and hard work that will prepare them to be counselors and leaders in the future, or to prepare them for college life. Being a camp counselor is a great summer job for college students. Our CIT program is a great way for young adults to gain the necessary experience and qualities needed to secure a job. Many camps look for past camp experience or CIT program experience. We prefer our CIT’s be past Camp Illahaw campers but it isn’t required.

You will also earn 50 community hours per week!

CAMP FACILITIES: We sit on 77 acres of natural preserves on a lake. We have four dorms and a junior Olympic size swimming pool. We have Volleyball Beach, Weight Lifting Room, full-size Gym, State of the Art Student Center with an arcade, billiard table, table tennis, fuse ball,and theater.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: For over 50 years, The Vanguard School has been working works with middle and high school students who face challenges in academics or/and social relations. Our students range from specific reading or math difficulties to anxiety in the classroom or during testing.

We also include students who need support developing executive functioning skills such as time management, planning, organizing, or self-advocating. We also help students realize and develop appropriate relationships through boundaries, communications, and engagement in activities such as volunteering, sports, and interest clubs. We have had a fabulous start to our 2019-2020 Vanguard School year, but now we are gearing up for our Summer Program Beyond the Classroom!

The Vanguard School, also, has an exciting summer camp Beyond the Classroom, and it is an outstanding opportunity for our students to experience The Vanguard Family and get to know new students and teachers in a relaxed environment and a much smaller setting.

Our summer camp goes beyond the traditional classroom, addressing not only academic skills but targeting the increasing need for social and emotional learning and life skills training that is at such a deficit in today’s students.

The social-emotional curriculum helps students to attain the skills necessary to manage and interpret emotions, feel and show empathy, exhibit self-control, make responsible decisions, and interact with others in our digitally-influenced world. SUMMER CAMP JOBS:

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Cardinal is focused on providing your child with a safe place to have fun this summer and many more to come! We encourage our campers to challenge themselves physically and mentally. This Summer Camp Cardinal has the opportunity of creating a mural project titled “New Beginnings” in honor of the community, new friendships, and family, Camp Cardinal seeks to build in the making. The mural project is strictly for the campers of Camp Cardinal 2017.”We would like our campers to join in the creation of a cultural arts project that will undoubtedly leave an everlasting impression within the community”.

Every camper that has a desire to be creative will have input towards completing our mural this summer of 2017.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: CITS: Counselors in Training, Assist head counselors with day to day activities, is a camper but a CIT first.

A CIT also receives 1/2 off tuition!

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): The Cardinal Parent’s Association (CPA)
Designed to allow the parents of campers a chance to
be a part of the activities at Camp Cardinal. A C.P.A members is essentially a parent counselor, assisting with various field trips and activities on a day to day basis.

Requirements
1. Every family is Eligible Parents must sign up within the program’s
set deadlines (C.P.A DOES NOT discriminate against race, creed, and /or religion) This program is strictly based upon a first come – first serve basis. (There are only three C.P.A positions available per session)

2. Must be a biological parent and/or rightful guardian of child.

3. Willing to work with children other than your own.

4. Must be physically active and able to participate in all activities.

5. Last but not least, Willing to have fun!

Rules and Regulations
1. A C.P.A member will act as a head counselor to his/her assigned group.

2. A C.P.A member cannot be a head counselor over his/her child’s group.

3. A C.P.A member must Chaperon various field trips and activities
such as (Late nights).

Agreement
1. Regarding your child’s itinerary you are required to commit
to a certain number of hours per session.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Camp Cardinal is a summer day camp focused on providing your child with a safe place to have fun and explore during the summer. We opened our doors to all campers in 2004 at Tree Tops Park. We are now based out of T.Y Park, located at 3300 N. Park Rd., Hollywood, FL 33021 We are back and ready to serve south Florida with excellence in child day care.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Wewa prides itself on two things...fun and safety. We encourage all campers to leave the cell phones and the video games home, you won't be needing them here at camp. Your day will be filled from wake up to lights out with fun activities throughout the day and evening. Our staff are all mature, well trained leaders that are here because they love camp. Each staff member participates in a through background check and staff training process before campers arrive, and many of our staff are in fact returning Wewa alumni. Leader In Training- LIT
Entering 9th Grade
HADRACHA combines leadership training with a fun camp experience. LITs will work with campers and travel on field trips or participate in leadership and team building programs for 2 days. LITS will participate in mitzvah ("good deed") projects and trips. Additionally, one day will be spent at the JCC working on camp wide special events programming, and spending time with campers. An interview process and acceptance is required for admission into the LIT program. 25 Community Service hours will be awarded for each 4-week session.

Madrich CITs assist in camp groups and learn hands on skills as well as knowledge gained in leadership training sessions. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Learn to surf or improve your surfing skills this Summer Break with Living Water Surf School, presented by Quiksilver and professional surfer William “Skeeter” Zimmerman. Skeeter and his staff of accomplished instructors will help you enjoy and appreciate the ocean and experience the supreme pleasures of The Sport of Kings. Skeeter has shared his passion for surfing and knowledge of the sport with thousands of students during his 12years as a surf instructor. His expertise is strengthened by his friendship with other professional surfers who will make guest appearances at the camp and assist Skeeter and his staff of CPR certified and life guard trained instructors.

Instruction will focus around Ocean Awareness and Surfing Fundamentals. In addition, students will learn firsthand about such topics as waves and tides, marine biology, coastal ecology, and beach profiles. Students may also participate in skimboarding, snorkeling, beach games, and towed tubing or wakesurfing (Wave runners driven by instructors only).

Each week will culminate with a surf contest, complimentary pizza party, and giveaways from Quiksilver,Roxy, and area surf shops.

CAMP FACILITIES: Whispering Manes is located on a private 5-acre property. We have a 12 stall barn and covered, outdoor patios with ceiling fans, a covered riding arena and enclosed conference area in case of inclement weather.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have 3 concrete barns, and one wood barn with walk out stalls attached. During the winter season our farm is home to 80 horses. During the off months of the summer, we still have around 65 horses. Our facility has 3 private riding arenas, and lots of grassy paddocks.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Delray Equestrian Center camp program combines qualified staff, experienced horses, and a beautiful 24 acre facility. In the DEC atmosphere campers can advance their horseback riding skills, expand their horsemanship knowledge, and enjoy riding with friends. Campers will be expanding their knowledge and interests in show western pleasure or English hunter/jumper/equitation, or just for pleasure riding. Camp is also about taking care of the horses, learning about them, getting to know them, and communicating with them.

Our horse camp features horses ranging from experienced A circuit show horses, to seasoned beginner ponies, and the wonderful patient beginner horse.

Our equestrian staff is qualified to teach riders of all ages ranging from 2 to older adults, and of all experiences. Young beginners play mounted games and get to learn all about their favorite horses, while others may learn to post, jog, lope, canter, trail or jump. More advanced riders will be able to jump through hunter or jumper courses.

Delray Equestrian Center started in 2009. Our facility has been around for over 30 years. We have many resident clients who have been here for as many as 15 years including the managers and head groomsman. At one time this farm was home to Thoroughbred racing horses. They would even swim the horses up and down the lake for exercise.

Riding programs are offered all throughout the year. Special programs are set in place for the individual whether they are the weekend rider or the serious competitor. Our students show from the A rated local shows, to some away shows in various places like Kentucky at the State Horse Park or the Carolinas to Saugerties New York for Marshall Sterling Finals, to the smaller beginner local circuits. They leave plenty of time for play for destination trail rides, BBQs, farm shows, and clinics.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Everglades Youth Conservation Camp is an American Camp Association (ACA) accredited facility, meeting all ACA health, safety, and program quality standards.

The Youth Camp was created in the 1960's by individuals who cared deeply about conservation, protecting wilderness areas, wildlife in natural habitats and preserving a way of life.

The camp facility is managed by the Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Residential summer camp programs are for children completing 3rd – 8th grade.

The EYCC also offers a Leadership Camp for youth completing grades 9th – 12th grade. Summer camp activities challenge camper’s physical, mental and social growth. Group leaders and instructors serve as guides through camp life and activities, mentors and role models. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The EYCC provides a volunteer opportunity for high school students to assist with various tasks around the camp during the summer season. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: This Elite Junior Golf Camp is designed for the competitive junior golfer who already plays competitively on his/her high school golf team and/or currently competes in junior golf tournaments throughout the season. Throughout this intense, week long experience, each camper will gain exposure to all facets of the game including the mental and fitness side. Each day will include technical lessons from Mike Bender, himself, as well as his PGA certified instructional staff.

Mike and his staff have trained former #1 junior amateur ranked players for both boys and girls divisions. Many attendees of this camp have gone on to join our full time Elite Program, competed collegiately, and won many AJGA Championships. Both Mike Bender and Cheryl Anderson, MBGA Director of Instruction, have previously won LPGA and PGA honors as Teachers of the Year. Mike Bender is currently ranked #4 on the Golf Digest Best Teachers in America. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: RYC provides free overnight camp to children with disabilities in order to raise their self-esteem, increase their social skills and provide opportunities for success in outdoor activities. Camp activities include camp activities like swimming, arts & crafts, hikes, bonfires, dance and therapy with horses and dogs and music. Each child has their own counselor for one on one attention. We have professional nursing staff 24/7 who also distribute medicine.

RYC was founded in 1974 by Rotary Clubs in District 6940. Clubs throughout the Florida panhandle provide almost 50% of the funds needed to manage the camp, $65,000 annually. In 2018 RYC was awarded the Florida State University Foundation and College of Education Exemplary Community Agency Award. Corporate and other donations provide our annual budget of $150,000. Campers are accepted without regard to ethnicity, gender, or disability.

Ho Daddy O’s Surf and Sport camps are week long summer camps for kids to learn the basics of surfing, wave riding, stand up paddle boarding, and traditional paddle boarding, combined with introductory lessons on surf terminology, ocean safety and awareness, and wave and weather predicting. Ho Daddy O’s provides a fun atmosphere designed to be fitness-oriented and quality supervised. We complement our instruction with games and education. Most importantly we teach a love and respect for the ocean and beach culture. We keep a low student to teacher ratio and provide personalized onsite coaching to nurture the individual needs of your young surfer.

Top quality boards – both stand ups (SUP) and surfing – will be provided for free. We rank#1 with our approach. This is no ordinary surf camp. We provide a complete “water girl/water boy” experience with a variety of instruction and water experiences. OTHER CAMP INFO: The Project Endeavor Experience takes students and faculty from around the globe and works with each participant to hone their skills and talents. Each participant will be assigned a team and each team will work with a team leader to design a project or perform a routine or create a masterpiece that will be shown to members of that given field at a final banquet. The team that is elected by members of that profession will be honored at the event and will be able to meet with the judges. As a part of the Project Endeavor experience, each team will base their project and the competition on behalf of a local charitable organization. CAMP FACILITIES: Our campus features swimming pools, Marleen Forkas Splash Pad, tennis courts, athletic fields, archery range, trapeze, gymnasiums, playgrounds, science lab, ceramics studio, auditorium, theater stage and a three-level indoor play center.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp at the J is all about kids having the freedom to learn and grow in an informal and nurturing setting while developing skills that prepare them for future success. Our camp culture is built on universally accepted moral ideals as well as strong Jewish values. We incorporate respect, honor, good sportsmanship and teamwork into all that we do.

All staff members are thoroughly screened and trained to provide a safe, fun and memorable summer. A registered nurse is on the premises to provide care and medical attention if needed.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: CIT Program: Entering 10th Grade

Under direct supervision, teens will develop leadership skills through a hands-on experience engaging with campers, training from local professionals, and social programming to aid in networking with other Madatzim. The goals of this program are to prepare for teens for future work experiences, provide teens with training and skills to become effective leaders and role models, improve self-confidence, assist children in camp groups, and excel at handling responsibility resulting in a fun and productive summer. All this and a great resume builder too!

Theater CIT Program: Age 16
Talented teens explore their creative side and also go behind the scenes to learn lighting and stage techniques, set design, direction, stage management and lighting plots.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: What to do when school is out? Come play at our J! Join us for Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring Breaks, as well as Pre and Post Summer Camps and No-School Days. Our Camp [AT] the J program features fun filled on campus activities including swimming, sports, dance, crafts and more. Plus, off campus trips put the fun in field trips. School may be out, but FUN is in all day at the Levis JCC! Pre and post care available.

Our weekly classes encompass playtime, developmental art, music and fine motor activities in our magical Baby & Me classroom.

Early Childhood Camp: Ages 2-4
Instructional swim, sports, music, arts & crafts, entertainment, V.I.P. puppets, H2O zone, Marleen Forkas Splash Pad, yoga, Zumba, space station, Interactive Exploration Experience, Ooey Gooey sensory time.

All Sports Camp: Grades K-4
Basketball, soccer, flag football, fencing, archery and more, plus sports-themed field trips! Led by our trained, professional staff team of sports enthusiasts.

Upper Camp: Grades K-10
Archery, basketball, cheer, fencing, flag football, gaga, go-karts, karate, soccer, tennis, trapeze, yoga, Zumba, ceramics, jewelry, magic, painting, science, woodworking, swimming instruction and free swim; plus electives, road trips and late nights

Theater Camp:Ages 8-11 & 12-15
Campers enjoy learning about every aspect of live theatrical productions - the creation, production and performance of musical theater - in a program tailor-made for elementary and middle school students. Running 60-70 minutes, our shows are abridged but long enough to tell a complete story through script, song and dance. Each 4-week session builds to a rewarding
final production both parents and camper-actors will be proud of!

Manhigim: Grades 7-9
Tailor-made for adventurous, independent teens craving fun and friendship-filled summers. Campers hit the road every week to experience favorites like waterskiing, Rapids and state-of-the-art entertainment parks,
plus new and exciting ones we introduce every summer, in Florida and beyond. Campers also enjoy overnight and day trips to exciting attractions and on campus activities including sports, art, swim, trapeze, archery and more.
