CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Kulaqua's unique program allows camps ages 7 to 17 to come to camp at the same time while providing camper's their own individualized experience.

Each age group is divided into tracks: Cub Camp (ages 7-9), Junior Camp (ages 10-12), & Teen Camp (ages 13-16). We have found that providing a camper with a program that is specifically designed for them, they are happier and more interested.

Our camp counselors are trained through an ACA accredited program especially for their chosen age group and you can rest assured that your camper will be taken care of by our energetic staff.

Camp has designed a program just for their age group, giving them worship songs they will enjoy and skits they’ll love. We want to bring God to your child in a way that they will be able to experience His love and come to know Him in a lasting relationship.

Does your camper dream of horses? Do they neigh in their sleep and post photos of horses all over their room? Then Camp Kulaqua’s Horsemanship camp is the place for them! During this week of camp, your camper will have the opportunity to learn all of the basics of horse care including: grooming, feeding, equipment maintenance, and equine first aid. Your camper will have their ‘own’ horse for the week that they get to groom, ride, and spend their week with.

Your cowboy/cowgirl will learn basic riding technique and skills with their horse and come back full of stories from their trail bag. Don’t worry, they will also get to participate in the other activities camp has to offer, like the water park, spring, and go-carts. And if that isn’t fun enough, evening programs are full of upbeat songs, amusing skits, and a dynamic speaker. This week is jam-packed with fun, activities, and God’s magnificent creature- the horse.

The first half of the day is structured like a typical school day. We will will focus on the maintenance of skills and concepts they have acquired throughout the school year. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: YMCA Camp Winona provides a great traditional, overnight camping experience. We try to balance tradition with the interests of today’s campers by offering fun, exciting and safe activities. Campers are grouped by age and gender and stay in small rustic cabins complete with built in bunk beds and air conditioning. There are up to 12 campers and two staff in each cabin surrounding centrally located bathhouses. Our meals are prepared by our camp chefs and served family style in our air conditioned dining hall. Our well-balanced meals include cereal, salad bar and sandwich options for those campers wishing an alternative/supplement to the meal. We are equipped to accommodate food allergies and special dietary needs.

At the Y, we believe that all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. Our Resident Camp provides an exciting, safe community for young people to explore the outdoors, build self-esteem, develop interpersonal skills, create lasting friendships and make incredible memories. CAMP FACILITIES: Campers sleep in a fully furnished and comfortable lodge which has been upgraded for wheelchair accessibility, with separate accommodations in the same building for male and female campers. Staff remains onsite throughout the camp. A wheelchair accessible fishing pier overlooks the river, and a wheelchair accessible golf cart is available to transport campers to and from activities.

At Skyhawks we go the extra mile to focus on safety, and we have a long-standing proven safety track record and processes to prove it. For example, all Skyhawks Sports camps start and end with our unique safety process called "Gate System and Parking Lot Duty." This process is where coaches come and greet both parents and campers in the parking lot when parents pull up to drop off their children.

Our staff guide the kids onto the field/court and out of harm's way by funneling them into our gate system. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Soccer players in the state of Florida can now experience the coaching expertise of Coach Mike Brizendine, and enjoy meeting new friends and having serious fun on campus at Florida State! Campers will learn principles of attacking and defending, combination play, pressure-cover-balance, flank play, counter attacking, zonal defending, finishing, and more.

We break down the game, and focus on individual topics for each session and then practice in small sided games. Our system of coaching gives players the chance to make better decisions while playing at a faster pace, reaching a new level of awareness and understanding of the game. We make camp competitive as the players push themselves. During the week players compete in small sided tournaments and evening games. Registration is limited to ages 10-18.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The themed kiddie camps are dedicated to children ages 3 - 6 years of age. The program allows children to explore various types of dance forms such as ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz, acrobatics and flamenco. Children are given daily dance related arts and crafts projects. The program also allows children to further develop their love of dance through stories. Children learn to express themselves through dance in a creative, energetic and nurturing environment. Programs are two weeks long per session. Imagination is brought into play as they learn to dance with their favorite movie characters! Family and friends are invited to come on the last day of the session to a small showing.

Dance Intensives are offered to students at the age of 8 years or older. It is designed for all levels of dance to further develop their technique while experiencing other forms of dance such as Modern Dance, Improvisation and Composition. Pirouettes, Stretch & Strength will be the main focuses. Campers will put on an end-of-intensive showing for family and friends.

CAMP FACILITIES: We sit on 77 acres of natural preserves on a lake. We have four dorms and a junior Olympic size swimming pool. We have Volleyball Beach, Weight Lifting Room, full-size Gym, State of the Art Student Center with an arcade, billiard table, table tennis, fuse ball,and theater.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: For over 50 years, The Vanguard School has been working works with middle and high school students who face challenges in academics or/and social relations. Our students range from specific reading or math difficulties to anxiety in the classroom or during testing.

We also include students who need support developing executive functioning skills such as time management, planning, organizing, or self-advocating. We also help students realize and develop appropriate relationships through boundaries, communications, and engagement in activities such as volunteering, sports, and interest clubs. We have had a fabulous start to our 2019-2020 Vanguard School year, but now we are gearing up for our Summer Program Beyond the Classroom!

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Great youth ministry starts with effective adult volunteers investing in the lives of students. That’s why we take time at BigStuf to invest in your adult leaders as they invest in your students. Our Leader Lab sessions are specifically designed to encourage and equip your adult staff and volunteers with practical youth ministry knowledge and resources to strengthen their impact on your students.

We want to take our leaders a bit further as we contemplate what it means to be a real leader. To do this, we set aside one hour each morning during the week for Leader Lab sessions. CAMP FACILITIES: The camp will be taking place on 100 acres of natural learning opportunities. There are over 50 separate garden displays, several waterfalls, koi ponds, many nature trails, pavilions, and animal friends throughout the gardens.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Solutionary Heroes Summer Camp is designed and directed by Jenna Bardroff, a humane educator with a Master of Arts degree in Education and a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Animal Biology. Camp programs are also facilitated by Dale Bardroff, M.A., an educator who has taught a wide population of special needs students. Camp educators are qualified outreach educators for compassionate studies and are committed to teaching participants solutionary skills. All camp educators are CPR and Frist Aid certified.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Nageela offers campers ages 5-13 an extraordinary 6-week experience of fun and character growth. Camp Nageela is dedicated to providing your child with a safe and exciting camp program that integrates Jewish values and traditions into daily camp life.

The Camp Nageela experience is comprised of a wealth of activities and specialty programming. Arts & crafts, swimming, basketball, baseball soccer, track & field, and superb field trips are some of the regular activities to go along with those "special days" sprinkled throughout the summer. Our extensive program, experienced on our expansive grounds, provides Nageela campers with the opportunity to develop their skills while experiencing the summer of a lifetime!
