BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Camp Kidwell is a summer youth camp that welcomes children ages 4 to 16. We offer both day and resident camps. Whether it is horseback riding camp, ropes camp or traditional summer camp children who come to Camp Kidwell have a great time and learn so much! Camp sessions start on June 21 and run thru August 14.
We offer many unique, fun and memorable programs that allow children freedom to learn and grow and explore the world around them. Each session features and creative theme with many fun and exciting activities intertwined. Kids have a chance to enjoy Swimming, Great Food, Archery, Arts and Crafts, Drama, Canoeing, Memories, Nature Exploration, Horseback Riding, Sports, Games, Campfire, Singing, Water Trampoline, Friends and so much more!
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Basketball, Football, Baseball, Soccer, Horses/Equestrian, Swimming, Waterfront/Aquatics, Volleyball, Adventure, Wilderness/Nature, Theater, Fine Arts/Crafts, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: We have cabins for lodging, over one half mile of lake frontage on beautiful Eagle Lake, a dining lodge for meals, sports fields for a variety of fun activities, and a modern bathhouse. We have sleeping arrangements for over 90 guests, with approximately 70 of those being in our heated cabins for cold weather use.
CAMP FACILITIES: We have 7 cabins, 1 main dining hall lodge, half mile of lake front, a large sports field, outdoor horseback riding arena, basketball court, arts and crafts cabin and drama cabin.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We have many camp programs including archery, drama, arts and crafts, horse back riding, swimming, canoeing, team building, nature, and sports and recreation. Our staff are trained in their specific area and are ready for fun.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: We have Counselors in Training (CITs) as a part of our staff. C.I.T.'s spend time with counselors and other staff members to observe how camp programming works and gain valuable experience. This job shadowing program ranges from living in the cabin with the counselor and campers and sharing meals with the cabin group to assisting in activities.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: 4-H Camp Kidwell has served as a meeting place for families, churches, and various other groups for over 20 years. Hosting a number of family reunions, friendship gatherings, and church outings each year. Our facilities are available for use year round and can be set up to meet the needs of many different events and activities.
We also have a team building program to help any type of group from work teams, classes and youth groups Each activity is designed to help your group work together to solve problems to achieve the desired end results. Our Ground Initiatives will enhance your group’s problem solving skills while being close to the ground. The 40’ Climbing Tower is a test of an individual’s will as well as a test of trust. Each member will scale the wall with the assistance of the other members of your group. The high ropes course will encourage your group to work together to overcome the fears that reside within all of us. It is an individual activity that requires participation and involvement from everyone on the team.
CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:
Weekly themes add fun and excitement to each week. Campers always have the opportunity to participate in our core activities of swimming, archery, drama, teambuilding, crafts, canoeing, horses and recreation games but the theme enhances these activities and make each week unique, fun and memorable.
