BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: A camp for children with serious illnesses and their families. We are free of charge. We offer summer camp and family camp.
SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: All of our programs are designed to support our special needs campers.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Horses/Equestrian, Adventure, Fine Arts/Crafts, and more. Fishing, Boating, Horseback Riding, Climbing Wall, Zip Line, Discovery, Nature, Arts/crafts, Archery, Dancing, Astronomy
CAMP LOCATION: We are located in beautiful Gypsum, CO which is 45 minutes west of Vail, CO and 3 hours from Denver, CO. We offer free transportation to our campers.
CAMP FACILITIES: We have 6 cabins which house 12 campers per a week plus 6 counselors. Our facilities sit on a 120 acre ranch overlooking the Colorado River.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We are ACA accredited and we are part of the SeriousFun Children's Network that Paul Newman started. We adhere to the highest camp standards and safety protocols. We have an excellent medical team onsite to provide support to all of our campers.
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: CHAP Program (Climbing Heights As Peers) - a leadership program for campers ages 15-17.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: We are 100% FREE thanks to our generous donors!
FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): We offer 7 family camps throughout the spring and into fall. The diagnosed camper can bring their immediate household to camp for the weekend. Family camps start on Friday evenings and end Sunday mornings.
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Besides summer and family camps, we offer 2 Camper Reunions per a year to reunite our campers. We also offer an Open House each May.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Summer Staff Counselors for 2017: Must commit to being at camp for the duration of the camp season. This is a paid position with housing and meals.
