BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Tomahawk Ranch will be your summer experience to remember! Tomahawk offers specialized programs designed just for girls in mind! Examples include a Wizarding camp, Bows & Arrows camp, Zombie Survival camp, TARDIS camp, Barn camps, Dance camps, Backpacking, Trip/Travel camps, Water camps, and more!!!
SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: We do accommodate campers with special needs and dietary restrictions at no additional cost. Please contact the director to discuss specific accommodations.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Soccer, Horses/Equestrian, Swimming, Waterfront/Aquatics, Volleyball, Team Sports, Adventure, Travel, Wilderness/Nature, Dance, Musical Theater, Music/Band, Fine Arts/Crafts, Video/Filmmaking/Photography, and more.

CAMP LOCATION: About 45 minutes from Denver in Bailey, Colorado.
CAMP FACILITIES: We have accommodations ranging from indoor heated lodges, seasonal cabins, platform tents, teepees, hammocks, and more. All our accommodations have access to toilets and showers. We have an activity center with a dance and art room. Activity areas include an archery field and course, sports field, nature center, greenhouse, barn, pond, hikes, nature walks, etc. We have a dinning hall with beautiful expansive views of the nearby mountain ranges.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The mission of Tomahawk Ranch is to create outdoor lifelong learning adventures, friendships and fun within a safe, happy and healthy camp environment.
The goals of Tomahawk Ranch are to provide girls with a resident summer camp experience that:
1. Encourages enthusiasm, participation, friendships, and smiles to produce Happy Campers!!!
2. Develop a keen knowledge, love for and care of the natural world in order to keep it beautiful for future generations.
3. To hearten respect and create a supportive space for every camper’s creed, race, ethnicity, values, and heritage.
4. To encourage the life long learning and development of Girl Scout values and respect beyond the camping experience.
5. Create a healthy and safe environment which encourages excitement, positive risk-taking, and fun!!
6. Develop self awareness and acceptance through learning unique skills and building positive relationships which prepare campers to make meaningful contributions to society.
ACA Accredited and Child Care Licensed.
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Leadership/CIT/Program Aide sessions available.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Camp grants are available. Register with a 10% deposit to secure your session and then complete the grant application.
FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Family Camps and year-round programming offered.
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Year-round programming available. Rental of camp facilities & program also available.
